Live performance and story telling is an important part of our culture and a wonderful way to enjoy and be challenged by, some amazing stories, music, theatre, dance and comedy. With on-going support from our Principal and Education Partner, Southern Cross University, NORPA are able to provide a varied program of performing arts for primary and secondary schools, including live performance, skill share and workshop opportunities.
It is exciting to see students enter the theatre and be part of the transformative experience of theatre. It is also important for the productions to have young audiences respond and react to theatre. Theatre learns from youth audiences and they will continue to help theatre develop and evolve with the contemporary imagination.
